Scout Program

At Fairy Godmother and Coterie we have a long history of supporting both the Girl and Boy Scouts, and for three generations we have actively participated in their programs.

One of our company's founders fondly remembers her Brownie Troop taking part in a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony in Sagamihara, Japan. The scouts had little understanding of one another's language beyond "Please" and "Thank You"; but, with good manners, smiles, and lots of giggles, many cross cultural friendships were made.

Our "Polite is Right" scout program uses hands on activities that foster age appropriate social skills.

This 1 hour program includes:

Etiquette trainer to facilitate the program
Your choice of the following lessons

- Meetings, greetings, and polite conversation

- Table Manners

- How to be a good host and guest

- How to speak with adults and authority figures

Fun and engaging activities that support the lesson
Printed handouts the scouts can take home
A fostering of skills that will help the scouts become polite and confident members of their community

Package is subject to 6% sales tax, unless tax exempt number is provided

additional participants $13 each -- 16 participant maximum.
